Personification Poem
A Book in the Wall
He is searching for you in the midst of a hard spine wall
Vlad hears a voice yell, “Over here.”
He looks around for somebody but no one is there
You fall from the shelf which you have called home for centuries
He picks you up and says, “Where did you come from?”
With a Smart Alec nature, you say “From the shelf dummy”
Your pages fly open and a gust of dusty air shoots onto Vlad’s face.
Vlad is captivated by your story and he buys you upfront.
(Afternote: Vlad finds that every time he reads you your story changes so he keeps you forever and never let’s anyone know you exist.)
