A Critter Birthday Gathering

Confetti all up in the air,
confetti on the ground,
Word about your birthday
has spread through the critter town.
Bumblebees are gathering
for you celebration,
And marching here in rows of two
is the entire aardvark nation!
The grouchy devils with rows of teeth
that hail from Tasmania,
Are currently filled with much excitement
and giddy hysteria.
All the creepy crawlers and insects
with large stingers,
Promise not to bite you
in honor of this humdinger.
There’ll be critters with smiles
and teeth of all shapes and sizes,
They vow to bring you gifts and food,
and even more surprises!
Enjoy the day and don’t be scared
because the critters know,
If any of them get out of hand
you can make them smell your toe!!
