I don't need brand new cars or diamond rings.
I don't need boats, a mansion or a yacht.
I don't need much just quiet, simple things.
I'm happy with the peace inside I've got.
A sunrise starting out a brand new day -
a red red rose; your tender, joyous smile -
a stroll along the beach, a warm sun ray -
and you, my love, beside me all the while.
A light spring rain, a waterfall, a star -
moonlight adrift upon a humble sea -
me telling you how beautiful you are -
and you replying how much you love me.
I ask your hand in marriage, you say, "Yes."
I'm happy with the simple things, I guess.
