A Travel through the West

by Swila Bathool

Traveling from the north I know
Spreading the wings to pass like a bow
having a long way to pass
to reach an end in the line that has mass

In through the west, the way to success
cutting the barriers to have some surplus
these prickly ways, with thorny bush
will be kept away with a mighty push

The guardian as we see
the strong barriers unable to free
might lose by cutting the shield
but then have in the prickly field

Some may reach in the way of brightness
and some may fail from the way of righteousness
but the journey along the west
will make a slight movement from the crust

Surprisingly awful... NEW
by: New York Times

I went into this expecting a well constructed rap with good mix-ups/flow. But what I found was one of the worst pieces of media I had ever consumed. To call this a rap would be a lie. To call this even a song or poem would once a again be a lie. The bare minimum for any music is rhyme and this "rap" failed to meet that bare standard.

I couldn't imagine someone ever making a rap so horrible it isn't even actually music. This is a disgusting view into what our youth consider "music".
