After all the years
that we've grown together
You let another person
break us apart.
Blame me for something
you know I would never do,
because that person has
complete control over you
It's sad that I'm being punished
not having done anything but
spend time away from you
I will not let your decision to cut me
hold me back
I will never forget
what you have done for me
I will continue to smile
whenever you are mentioned
or when I think of you
I'll pray for you,
and still hold you dear
through my memories
