Agony

Trying not to cry
Trying to let go of what happened
But it ain't that easy
Not a piece of cake, Dear Friend.

I'm trying and trying
To see you happy
By laughing in front of you
So you can see.

Though I know
You wont forgive
But I still have to leave you
so you can live.

I am shattered
Every part of me cries.
Every time I see you down
Every part of me dies.

If only we didn't have to part!
But destiny had other plans
We always believed in the power of kismet
But never did we know of its pranks.

Are you going through
The same agony as me?
I wish, I hope not
Because I want you happy.

This agony will go away
I 'will' see you living life
I don't care if I'm not a part of it
Don't care if you're not mine.
