All the Reasons

You would think with each passing year it would get harder to figure out how to tell you why you’re the one for me….

You would think that it would get harder for me to come up with all the reasons why I married you….

All the reasons I still love you
All the reasons I'm still in love with you
All the reasons I still stare at you in amazement for absolutely no reason
All the reasons I still laugh at your silly jokes
All the reasons I still cant help but smile even when we’re mad at each other
All the reasons I still hate being away from you
All the reasons I still want to see your face first when I wake up
All the reasons I still want to kiss you before I go to sleep

You would think that with all these reasons it would get easier to remember to tell you everyday how I feel and what you have meant to me all these years….

To remember to ask you about your day
To remember to ask you how you feel
To remember to listen to what you have to say
To remember to listen to how you feel
To remember to call you for absolutely no reason during the day
To remember to tell you thank you for everything you do
To remember to tell you how much I appreciate your support
To remember to tell you I Love You and not just I Love You too

You might think that when I forget to tell you all these things that I’m no longer in love with you the same way I was so many years ago….

If you think these thoughts…. please remember that as imperfect as I am….You are still the perfect one for me. For all the reasons you remember and for the times you might forget.
