Amazing, Wonderful Thing

For this special occasion
Expressing great sacrifice
And celebration.
I could never imagine,
And I'm sure neither could you,
To lay down my life
For those I never knew.
But such a marvelous man,
Such a kind and caring King,
Did that, just that,
Amazing, wonderful thing.
