Can A Woman Have An Eagle's Wing?

Lately, I have been having a new feeling deep down in my gut:
It’s a good feeling,
Like after you eat a meal that you were really hungry for:
Full and honest satisfied.
I am still a trifle frightened the meal may not go down as planned,
That there might be some digestion problems; cramps, nausea, upset stomach….
But, the truth is, I am ready, willing, and able
To die today to find out if this meal is poison.
And I mean that: Dead and in the box.
This is love for a man like me, broken and still shivering in the California sun.
But the magical thing is, when you put your arm around my shoulder
I feel like I am being covered and shielded by the wing of an enormous eagle.
