Dear dad where do I start
I guess when our family had fell apart..
I'll never forget that very day I asked u daddy can u stay...
I hated you for years but as I grew, I began to see...
you made the best choice for my sister and me...
I love the way we can sit and talk I cherish the ground on which you walk...
you're not perfect nobody will ever be but daddy your perfect to me...
if I ever lose you I don't know what I’ll do I can’t live life without you...
I know you think it’s no big deal but this disease u have is out to kill...
I’m not putting you down I never will just imagine how we'd feel...
to wake up one day and you are dead and wish there was something more that I said ...
something that will just make u see how much you really mean to me.
you can get mad but I will be true, all you’re thinking about is you..
What about the ones u leave, because of you we believe...
what about walking me when I find that one, what about Dawson your youngest son?
I need you to wake up and see you are hurting our whole family,
we love you dad please just go, you're letting us down by telling us no.
what can we do but sit and cry as we watch the alcohol help u die.
I know it’s not easy I have addictions too, but I’d quit them now if it meant keeping you.
I’d take a bullet right here today if all your troubles were sent away...
I’d do anything I could possibly do, just to help you get through...
I love you daddy no matter what but without your help this door won’t shut...
when times were hard u were true now it’s time I push you through without you
I don't want to know where I’d be,
I’m so blessed god gave you me..
no matter how old I get or what u say, I’m daddy's 'lil girl to stay, and it’s my life to make sure your OK. I'm hoping there are many more memories to have but I'm hoping I can keep my dad!
