DESPERATE PERLEXITY
In nisus, perfect desperation sought
Found in perplexity of wooded stone
Resilient, uncolored, fixed, I stand
Unblunted by pompous rhetoric.
No less strong than the mighty oak
The acorn is embraced by a squirrel
The stained glass of my ego
Broken by the hand of christ.
The sound of shattered pride,
Is beautiful.
