Unobserved deep within the forest’s center
There lies a secret of nature’s quite mentor
The worker, the protector of the woodland
Night and day she works with strong hand.
As the keeper and healer of nature’s best
The forest has her fairy who’s put to test
Looking on watching tress cut down
For money her lumber taken to town
She works hard to keep herself strong
Trying to put up with mankind’s wrong
Should you see a fairy with her tears
Having no more forest amongst her fears.
