Jellyfish float from the skies
Bringing much needed supplies
Desperation dictates the day
Looting, violence the only way
To stay alive.
Death hangs in the air
Starving people stare
Lives and culture lost
Scenes of a holocaust
Water pumps from a pipe
Then stops.
A voice cries from the dark
Then stops.
Never give up hope
As they pass the rope
To pull another survivor.
Images on our TV screens
Relay the horrors being seen
So how was your day?
