(Canterbury)
The structure was based on his father.
The position maintained
upright, straight of limb,
eyes forward. you always faced
your fellow man face on,
eye to eye. Tongue cautious
for the stray words escape
content is a homestead
guarded, clothes a badge
and armour. For this was
his fathers way
his trousers were always creased.
