All these years,
growing up in your arms
Holding your hand
to get up when I fall
Listening to you
when you did serious talking
Poking your pot belly to irritate you
Flashing my smile
to let you skip the scolding
You’ve been my angel who realized
All my wishes in the blink of an eye
You’re my first friend to whom I shared
You wiped my tears & gave me hugs
Beyond comparison is your care
Thank you for abiding my snobby tantrums
Thank you for never giving up on me
Thank you for being there through my rough
Thank you for scolding me for my flaws
and when you scolded me
you let me know your love
These words ‘strictly’ aren’t meant to cry
This is to tell you
that you’re not just my dad
You’re the bestest dad,
you’re my Superhero
And I really really really miss you
and miss…
Holding your hand to get up when I fall
Listening to you when you did serious talking
Poking your pot belly to irritate you
Flashing my smile to let you skip the scolding
Happy Father’s Day …….
