He didn’t have to awake me on time; he didn’t have to give me peace when I was about to lose my mind. He didn’t have to cover me with his blood; he didn’t have to show me in so many ways that I am loved;
He didn’t have to keep danger and harm away; he didn’t have to make a way when I saw no way. He didn’t have to provide when the money was low, he didn’t have to say “Yes” when others said “No;”
He didn’t have to heal my body when I was sick; he didn’t have to encourage me when I wanted to quit. He didn’t have to give me his hand when I was about to fall in the pit. Many things he didn’t have to do, but he did.
