Time you gave so I could see
Wishes you made for my spirit to be free
Ages of days spent calling upon me to be of service
To the inner voice that was left behind
The frightening child who wandered off
That you could see how far that was into the depth of my soul
You never demanded a drop of anything in return
Only that I be here present in my own skin with a clear conscious
How I never new the memories we've created uncovered my past
It's as if you could see inside my heart and hear my cry
Somehow, You always knew what I needed to do to grow
You've given me so much confidence in myself - because you believed
That I am a beautiful spirit and that's all that's been required
All of the love you've given me has been for fun and for free
I've taken steps; one by one; day by day; moment by moment with you
Walking this journey as the past turned into a priceless gift
No one I have ever known has protected and guided me more in my life
Then you, Terry.
So Here I am praising all that we have created and stringed together
Lots of love and lots of joy and lots of prayers...
I feel like a miracle because of You.
