Another empty day
With nothing new to say
Just time passing me away
Something short
Something fragile
A thing I can’t obtain
Or see
I just know it's there
And there is where it’s meant to be
And I will hold it
Till me days are gone
And when that time comes
To you I will pass it on
It’s short
And sometimes will not live on
But hold it and don’t let go
Fight and be strong don’t let anyone tell you wrong
Remember it's fragile and if it shatters
A life time you will spend
Trying to figure out the pattern
Hold this with your hands with heart
And don’t let anybody tear you apart
