“I Am Fearfully and Wonderfully Made”



I am created in God’s image
I’m not a soulless mass of flesh
A miracle in progress in God’s view!
Make NO mistake about my worth
Despite untruths you may have heard
Such as the Holy Word of God not being true!
There IS a purpose for my life
God has a special plan for me
I am loved by God and need not be afraid!
I’m set apart, He says, for Him
But if my fate on Earth grows dim
I know I’m Fearfully and Wonderfully Made!
The Book of Psalms says I am knit
Deep within my mother’s womb
I pray that ALL the world someday understands
There is a purpose WHY I’m here
And God my Father makes it clear
I AM protected in the shelter of His hands!
So if I live or if I die
Please know I’m very much alive
Hear my cry out there! Please bring me no harm!
I have no voice as you can see
But Father God can hear my plea
And knows I long to be embraced in someone’s arms!
