"I Do" and "I Will"

"I do" remember when we first met,
giddiness and nerves excitement at best.
Little did I know you would look at me,
American girl with American dreams,
as one to love unconditionally.

"I do" remember our first kiss,
at a Christmas party
and a little blue dress.

"I do" remember Christmas day
and stolen glances
directed your way

"I do" remember New Year's Day and the thoughts that you may go away.

"I do" remember New Year's Day and the words you coaxed to get your way....

That was the day I knew I was here to stay.

"I will" continue to give you my heart

"I will" live every day as a fresh start.
"I will" love holding your hand
"I will" enjoy you as a man
"I will" promise to guard your soul
to the heavens and back and lands unknown
"I do" believe we are meant to be
"I will" prove it through eternity.
