If the World

If the world was a flower,it would smell so sweet
If the world was made of chocolate ,it would be so good to eat
If the world was a heart, we would be safe and warm
If the world was full of caring things, we would all be safe from harm.
But the world is not a flower and it does not smell sweet
It is not made of chocolate so we all have to compete
It's not a heart, so we have to be aware
That there are some nasty things going on out there.
But if we try a little kindness each and every day
And help a soul along the way
Who knows what could happen in this world of ours
It might just turn into chocolate or flowers
