If you lost me tomorrow to heaven above, soaring above you, flight like a dove...
Don't be sad, I'm on my way home...my only misgiving is that I've left you alone.
If you lost me tomorrow, to a hapless fate, St. Peter pulling me to heaven's gate...The memory of me, in your soul burned...Are you at peace or do you feel spurned?
If you lost me tomorrow, my end met... would you be lonely and filled with regret? Hold me close all the days that we spend, each one special as if it were our end.
If you lost me tomorrow, my time run out, would you be fulfilled or haunted by doubt? Fill every day with unselfish love, For we never know when we'll soar like that dove.
