by Sinead FitzPatrick
(Adelaide, South Australia, Australia)
Eight long months,
We've been apart,
And you're still the owner,
Of my heart.
You heard me cry,
And disappear,
Drown in a lake,
Of my cold tear.
I thought of you,
Once again,
Because part of me,
You remain.
Sometimes I fear,
I cry too much,
But It's 'cause i miss,
Your gentle touch.
I wish that I,
Could change my face,
And Leave this world,
Without a trace.
I want to release,
The chains that bind,
The strength in what,
Remains behind.
So I'll wait in sorrow,
Until one day,
You once more take,
My breath away.
