In your eyes I see your heart, your soul, all that you would reveal to me and all that you feel for me;
slay me with the arrow of your love, for it is your love that enables to fly;
but look not upon my wound but at my spirit through my eyes as I happily breathe my final breath,
that your sweet eyes and smile be the last thing I see;
laugh at me, that I may see your laugh once more;
kiss me that I may feel your kiss once more;
scold me for my folly that I may hear your words once more;
caress me that I may feel your touch once more;
tell me that you’ll miss me that I may see your tears once more;
hold me one last time that my final words to you are spoken through the voice of my heart.
