Love Me

With three words that started this downward spiral " I love me"

With a broken and healing heart how can anything be fixed.

Couldn't wait to rush into the arms of your new loved one.

Couldn't wait to push me to the side.

Couldn't wait to start your new life.

My heart was broken and healed all in one statement.

"I love me."

That showed me how this was never a marriage, but a one sided relationship.

It showed me all of the years of push and fight there was nothing there to fight for.

I was fighting a battle when there was no battle to be fought.

With three simple words I have learned I need to take the advice of others and love me...
