Man's Inhumanity

Since the beginning of time
Mankind has known so much evil
The inhumanity to our fellow man
Has caused us so much upheaval

Man's inhumanity to man
May wind up being our total downfall
Men being cruel to each other
Will be the destruction of us all

Inhumanity is man's greatest evil by far
Why can't we see what we do
There have been prophecies of old
That we are causing to come true

Instead of inhumanity to each other
Where is our greatest humanity
We watch death, starvation, and disaster
Why don't we lose our sanity

How can we just stand by
And watch what's being done
Why don't we step up right now
And prove that righteousness can be won

There is nothing worse on this Earth
Than good people standing by
And watching our people destroy each other
We can win this together if we only try
