Dark skies holds sad memories
Memories thought to have faded away
Little wonder I see you when I gaze up there
Stars seemingly connecting to show your face
The moon as your heart
Like a gateway
Glowing with ever passing moment
As sadness fills me
For this is just a memory of what could've been
Looking around me now lost in the stars
Floating away into the galaxy
Tears from my eyes glimmering
Like a gateway to my soul
Memories pulling
Drowning me in a sea of regret
Its your fault is all I hear
As I spin uncontrollably away
Never to return
Or so I thought
Or so it is
Maybe this was how it was meant to be
Maybe its not
I will never know
Because my mistakes have blocked me out.
