Miracle

Smile, for you made it through another day of ache.

Before you sleep you pray for a small break.

Two kids, no mate, and a job that gives no relief.

"Please show that you care that I push through this grief!"

You slowly fall asleep as a tear falls from your eye.

The sick feeling fills you, "I wish I would just die."

You yawn as you wake to the sun in your room.

Dreading this new day that will bring sadness and gloom.

Wait...the house and the bed where you now lay!

It has all changed from what you knew yesterday!

Should you run, hide, call for help as you scream!

Then you realize...the sad life you lived was only a dream.
