The times I sit here dreaming
And wishing you were here
I miss you so much it hurts
Mum you were so dear

I try to hide my feelings
Then people think I'm OK
But I haven't been the same
Since you passed away

I was very lucky
To be part of your team
Because when it comes to mums
I sure got the cream

Perhaps I just care too much
But without you it's strange
People tell me to move on
But I will never change

For now I'll keep on grieving
Don't care if I lose sleep
Not many have a mum like mine
We shared a bond so deep

I'll move forward when I'm ready
Still can't believe it's true
That although my journey will go on
It will be without you
