by Caneel; Princess of the Moon Faries
(Maine)
Moon fairies come out at night
That's why you never see us
Moon fairies dance in moonlight
Of course you want to be us
We sing and fling our moonlight dust
Our parties by moonlight are really a must
We dance and trill and laugh and play
The bright moonlight will light the way
Sun fairies burn bright in the day
But we shine with a special light in our own way
And the moon does NOT get it's light from the sun
The moon gets it's light from us; we are one
We moon fairies live forever
We moon fairies flock together
Our existence is a lonely one
Except for each other
Moon fairies come out at night
No one knows to greet us
Moon fairies dance in moonlight
And we think that you should meet us
