My Best Friend

Best Friends

When a friend sees a friend
for the very first time
A friend that hasn't been in my life
since I've grown up
(The last time i saw my best friend
was at my 13th birthday)

Now I am happy to see my best friend
Despite all the years we have been apart and
distant, we have again became very good friends

We are both now adults and
we are the same age
We both live in the same group home
So that's my poem
