If you want to do both in a single line, you could say something like this,
"She/He is like (blank), that (does something)."
Here's an example of what I mean,
"She/He is like a beautiful flower, soaking in all the sunlight around her/him."
Or, you could flip it, like this,
"A beautiful flower is like her/him, soaking in all the sunlight around her/him."
Personally, I think the first option is better, but it's your poem.
What you want to do is compare her/him to something and then describe that thing doing something that it realistically can't do.
