You tried to stop me from going but I know best
I left without looking back, without a care in the world.
I felt that there had to be something I could do to show you
But oh how was I wrong,
you never cared
you never loved me
How was it that I couldn't see what you had done

I have to let you go and start anew

how can I do that
I hold up my head and put on a smile and make you all believe
