My mom is like smooth running water
She adapts to everything, still is okay, and still soothes
My dad is like a thick scratchy blanket
He stifles me, and shields me from everything
My step dad is like a big truck
He packs a lot of power, and he runs very efficiently
My sister is like a kick-butt Barbie
She likes clothes, but is still fierce
My friends are like birds
We always flock together and squawk together
My enemies are like strong winds
They whistle around me, and they carry everything everywhere
And I am like a book, plain on the cover
When you open me, you will truly see I am special
