There was a girl from Kansas
Anxious to take some chances
So she jumped on the Internet
And found a pretty good bet.

Found a guy who was looking
Learned he too was surfing
He was looking for a lady
Who might be somewhat lonely.

Thus on the Internet
Two strangers online had met
Bit by bit they got closer
And became each other's lover.

She asked the lad to come see her
She wanted to meet her lover
He said, I doubt mom will let me
