None of the bars in Hollywood have signs,
To guide me towards my baby tonight,
By now I should know to leave enough time.
Sometimes I struggle to see a straight line
And stumble into a tavern of plight,
None of the bars in Hollywood have signs.
I mean to be punctual when we dine,
Too often I’ve arrived in the wrong light,
By now I should know to leave enough time.
Falling apart, now you're no longer mine,
When we first met everything seemed so right;
None of the bars in Hollywood have signs.
Insights of the future not worth a dime
Can never tell of great depths or such height,
By now I should know to leave enough time.
How am I supposed to find and align
My baby and me in time for the night?
None of the bars in Hollywood have signs,
By now I should know to leave enough time.
