When you have no drive
in life anymore.
And nothing matters.
When there is nothing driving you
to desires of a better self,
when worth of the inside has died.
The pain fills everywhere
and tears taste awful
as they drape across your lips,
but you are curious of their flavor.
When breathing seems more of a chore
than you want to put up with.
Darkness surrounds you
is no longer a cliche phrase but a reality.
When the one you feel in your heart
betrays your love daily.
Breathing out feels better
than breathing in.
Your face takes turns
being sopping wet to dry and crusted.
Guilt.
Empty.
Hopeless.
Pain.
Numb.
No movement.
