I love those hills, those timbered hills
Those tree covered hills of home,
When down the shaded glen
The streamlet trickles on.
In every heart there is a hallowed spot.
It is there peaceful times were spent.
When memory surveys this
It perceives a quiet bliss.
In every life there are precious thoughts.
What ideas has this day brought?
Be it a rare and priceless truth
Found in knowledge of true worth.
Seek to receive the needed grace
For each daily task we must face.
In confidence we must walk on.
We must work before light of day is gone.
There is a joy in preparing
Things of life we can be sharing.
Enjoy refreshing moments remembering
There is someone caring.
