by Mary Pagdati
(Nicosia, CYPRUS)
When I think of you Cousin…
I see the Lilies of the valley
valiant but with a fragrance so dear;
Butterflies, fluttering hither and thither
exuberant wings shedding brilliant cheer.
I hear the chatter of birds
singing in blissful chorus;
And the biz-buzzing of bees
traits of a Taurus.
So keep smiling my dear
resonating joy all around;
Your smile is of love - embrace,
that will forever abound.
