My eyes feel like they're bleeding
but I'm jut crying.
I've been struggling to let you go
for such a long time, trying

squeeze the blood out of my heart,
rip the soul out of my body,
but please don't make me forget you,
don't leave me here
to be hated by everybody

mind over matter
they say it's just a rhyme
for me it's real
your beauty is a crime

days seem longer,
colder and darker,
your loss emphasizing all the pain
with a blood tainted marker

if love is a sin
then there is no life
because you and your love
are the reasons for my strife

I wish to have you always
but in case it ends
I hope that you'll live happy,
smile that gorgeous smile,
and with life and faith make amends......
