As I lay me down to sleep
I pray forgiveness from my feet
My knees my back my neck my arms
I must turn off all my alarms
I lay upon my fresh made bed
And slow the gears down in my head
And so to dream my eyes fall closed
I pray to sleep not just to doze
To wake refreshed recharged reborn
And smile I don't have to mow my lawn
The Sandmans job to cast his sand
As tired eyes are rubbed with hands
Sleep well dear friends
May your dreams come true
I am tired but I am happy
I hope you are to.
