I'm not your kind
I'm not limited like you are
I can see you all drowning in the churning water
Drawing closer and closer to the waterfall
I can see your hands flailing, mouths
Gasping greedily for air
I'm not your kind
I'm not limited like you are
I can see the crystalline waters and the lush forest
Soaring above you on wings of silk
Some day my wings will turn to ash and I will burn with you
In the water you can still burn
But for now
I'm not your kind
I'm unlimited
I'm soaring
