Softball I AM

When i play softball, I am Jackie Robinson
Every ball I hit flies into another planet,
Every time
My bat meets the ball, the hit is powerful like
elephants dancing at a birthday party

Softball I AM

The clashing sound it makes when the bat and
ball connect, sounds like lighting striking the
whole field,
When I get on the batters mound
I AM the star of all times, I feel like I AM
on top of the world

When I hit a home run and run around the bases,
I am an unstoppable dasher,
It feels like every base is a booster, boosting me
to home plate

When I slide in to home plate, it is like a pile of
gold wrapped in a present waiting for me to dash
through it

Once i make the winning score my heart smiles,
I smile and everybody smiles
