These soldiers are courageous and strong
These are the soldiers who fight for right and wrong
Why should someone shoot the innocent man
When do the soldiers know the distance between peace and war
When do soldiers realize how treacherous the gun really is
If only they knew they control the gun, not the other way around
A true soldier does not care that he is tired,
He is vigilant in his task
Long may our flag wave,
While so many were underneath it when they were sent to the grave
A soldier fights all night to protect our lives
While some moping around, making lies
Complaining about the food we eat
While a soldier works hungry and wearing from head to feet
We honor the dead and all who served,
It's Veterans Day, It shall be heard!
