" They knew there could be trouble"
you pay with blood, for bliss
and all the tanks & trouble
will not deter from this.
I write, behind some barricade
my pen, with which you see
how sometimes nations are made
and a spirit will burst free.
We're not martyrs to some old plan
or begging some new cause
sometimes you have to make a stand
when some tyrant locks the door.
WE knew there could be trouble,
that freedoms keys not cheap
but all those tanks & rubble
will be washed into the sea.
