There is a pier
outside of town......
On a stage alone,
time composed this song for you.
Drive me out,
fish for my pain.
Not connected to
anyone.
A note so wide,
so open, but yet
so blue.
It collects in a
corner pocket
again.
A lasso, drawn up
for a boat with
boxes to unload.
A duty, it can't
spark that flame.
Only to get pulled
out as a leaf.
An endless amount
that delves its
waters aside.
Just wires your
feelings, out
on a line.
Once more,
A leaf, so broken,
at each limb, where
time has composed
this song for You.
Time has brought,
crumpled, me.
Passed that last
window where it calls for more.
