Dawn's Disguise
Is in no way a surprise
It creeps up slowly
From the folds of the untamed earth
Slowly changing shades
From a dull
Lifeless gray
Till it grows older
And becomes bolder
Light orange
And slowly turns
The whitish yellow of
A morning starting fresh
Another Day
For all that thrive in it
All that seek refuge
From the blackness
Of night
And strive
To be alive
