Thinking I was all alone
Well, I was certainly wrong
You stood by my side
guiding me all along

When I was unsure, you helped me
you gave me support
Lent me advice
And I've absorbed all you've taught

Your teaching is the best
it helps me learn more
I understand everything in your lesson
You say "that's what teachers are for"

You laugh when there is sorrow
treat your pupils like your friends
Full of joy, and brightness
A ray of sunshine that will never end

and so, I'd like to say
Thank you very much
For everything you've done for me
And I'd like to keep in touch
