Teardrops and tissues,
From times of bereft
Leave trails of haunting memories.
Ladies and gentlemen gather from all around
Mainly, out of respect
They don't quite feel the sorrow and regret.
Though they fake empathy and try to have sympathy,
It never really helps.
No matter what they say,
the outcome is still the same.
The lost are still gone
Never to return.
