The Little Light House

by Made by 12, (almost 13) yr. old female
(From Happy Valley Middle School :P)

The day slowly ends,
and I watch the Sun go to bed,
and she pulls on her blanket
covered with bright white stars and a moon.
Now it is my turn to do part of her job.
My bright light, welcomes the dark night sky.
I then see the waves playfully crash onto each other
trying not to tip over all the ships.
I also hear the sound of
the breeze and winds passing by me.
But Fog comes to visit. Oh no!
The ships need my help!
My light still shines ever so brightly
to lead the ships to safety.
Ships and boats greet me
and thank me for my hard work.
Then the day slowly begins
and now it is time for me to go to bed.
I watch the Sun pull down her blanket,
and awaken.
She thanks me for all my hard work.
I turn off my light,
and go into a deep sleep,
satisfied because of my hard work.

I believe you did very well, I like it. You told a good story with the words, but kept it sharp and concise. I like your use of imagery, I could see the sun pulling up her blanket, and greeting you. Thankyou. I enjoyed it. More please. Rest gently please. Dusty
